Tsuchiura Fish Market serves lunch during daytime. Although it is 10-minute walk from our house, the first time I went there was December 27, 2013, when I was 23, with my brother. They serve generous portion of fresh fish and since then it became one of our favorite places for lunch. Similar to most of the Japanese casual restaurants, customers first pay at a vending machine to get a ticket as in the photo, and a waiter will take the half of the ticket. When the food is ready, they will call the number.
