A friend of mine drove me to Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture to see an exhibition, and the Art Tower stands next to the museum. This tower reminds me of a statue in Toronto although this one in Mito is an architecture with an observatory.

This tower is well known for its appearance in NHK, the national broadcast because it is always in the frame of the camera in Mito broadcast station for the weather report.
